About

Me

A writer from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, I received my MA in Creative Fiction and PhD in English from UC Berkeley in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

My research interests are primarily vested in Asian/American studies and feminist studies in the long twentieth century. My academic monograph-in-progress focuses on literary and cultural production during the transpacific Cold War, arguing that the figure of the Chinese woman served as a compelling but volatile proxy for the competition between socialist and liberal feminisms.

My objects of criticism include fiction, memorials, art and films.

I am also at work on a debut collection of short stories.
